I was not sure about taking this pick because Altay keeps surprising every week. They collected 8 points out of 10 in the last four games and they are unbeaten for six games in the league. This is insane! Just look at their lineup in the last game: Goalkeeper Ozan Evrim has been reserve goalie for maybe 7-8 years for various of clubs. Defence line: Ibrahim Ozturk, Bjorkander and Efe Sarikaya. Ibrahim is 41 years old while Efe is only 16 years old! Have you ever seen such a duo? Bjorkander is good for this level. On midfield (they usually play 3-5-2 or 5-3-2), they have Salih, Zeki, Arda, Tolga and Naderi. Salih is a 3rd league material (4th tier) as he spent his career until now in that league. Zeki is a good player for this level. 20 years old Arda Gezer did not start any professional league game in his career until this season. Tolga is an experienced right back but they are playing him on midfield this season. Naderi is a good player but he did not join pre-season camp and he does not look same fit like last season. On attack, they have Paixao and Mehmet. 19 years old Mehmet was playing for Altay U19 team last season. 38 years old Paixao did not join pre-season camp but he is a really good finisher, legendary striker. He also scored nine goals this season. This week, Altay will have experienced midfielder Ceyhun Gulselam back from suspension which is good for their midfield.

I wrote all of these things above to make you informed about Altay lineup. On bench, they simply had nobody to play! Recently, 34 years old left-back Özgür Özkaya and 36 years old forward Deniz Kadah are back from injury but they only entered the games in stoppage times in last games so I have doubts how fit they are. Due to lack of squad depth, they signed a footballer contract with their 41 years old trainer Murat Uluc who ended his football career in 2018! Murat was subbed in six games this season because they did not have anyone to play. I just can not believe how they collected so many points with this limited team. And they also have an unexperienced coach Sinan Kaloglu in charge. 41 years old is an Altay legend in his football career but he was managing in Altay academy until he was appointed as head coach in March. He is doing a good job.

Altay are ranked 18th (among 19 teams in the league) in average ball possesion as they just give the ball to opponent and look for counters. Altay are also ranked 16th in creating clear chances as they don't need to create a lot, 38 years old Paixao scores from any chance!

Having said all these things, Altay just played a game against Göztepe last week with full of fan riots. The game was abandoned in the 20th minute after an attack to Altay goalkeeper. Altay fans also did some unacceptable things towards Göztepe fans. Therefore, both teams are suspended to play some games without fans. Away fans are allowed to attend the game. That's a huge blow for Altay because home support was really important for this limited team. And Altay's regular goalkeeper Ozan Evrim is a doubt after a fan attack to him last week. Reports say even if he would be fit to play, his mental situation is not ready to play. And Altay also missed 2nd goalkeeper due to injury (according to reports). So, if Ozan Evrim does not play this week, they will have to play with 18 years old Mustafa Çalışkan who is playing for Altay U19 team. Even if Ozan Evrim decides to play, I am not sure how strong he will be mentally after the things happened to him last week.

Boluspor are a play-off contender this season. They don't score for fun but they have the best defensive record in the league as they only conceded 8 goals in 14 games. Boluspor are strong at home, they had problems in away games recently. But, if you check it closer, you see they defeated Manisa and Pendikspor in the first two away games in the league and both of these teams are in top 7 positions in the league now. After that, they visited Keciorengucu, Samsunspor, Bodrumspor and Rizespor. All of them are in top 8 at the moment! So, Boluspor did not play any away game outside of top 8 in the league until now. And now they play against Altay who will be without fans and regular goalkeeper is an injury doubt.
